MUELLER SWORN IN, NAMED TO HOUSE COMMITTEES 

ST. PAUL – Representative Patricia Mueller, R-Austin, was sworn in Tuesday for her first term as the State Representative for House District 27B. Mueller, who was first elected in November, lives in Austin with her husband, Dan. She has worked as a teacher in the Austin Public Schools since 2016, and is pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Education Leadership after graduating from University of Minnesota, Moorhead with her master’s degree in Curriculum Instruction – Literacy Emphasis. 

“It is truly an honor to represent the people of Austin and the surrounding communities,” said Mueller. “I look forward to getting to work for the people of Mower, Dodge, and Freeborn Counties. If any residents of District 27B have concerns or questions about issues relating to state government, I would urge them to reach out. I was elected to represent the needs and priorities of our area, and I’d love to hear from you.”

Mueller was also named to three House committees: Education Finance, Education Policy, and Public Safety and Criminal Justice Finance and Policy.
