Tiana Lashay Alize Hughes, age 21, has apparently been charged with three felony counts in relation to the Saturday evening incident. Count #3 involves the assault of a police officer. She is currently being held at the Hennepin County jail on $100,000 bail.

She is scheduled to make her first court appearance tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon. Court records indicate that the incident took place on August 8, and that Hughes was booked into jail just after midnight.
If her name rings a bell, you may recall this incident from December 2021,
Teen charged in crash of carjacked SUV in Minneapolis that killed 2 passengers
It took a while to track her down, but in December 2022, the Star Tribune reported,
Tiana L.A. Hughes, 17, of Minneapolis, was charged Thursday by juvenile petition in Hennepin County District Court with two counts of causing death while fleeing police, second-degree manslaughter and two counts of criminal vehicular homicide in connection with the crash on Dec. 9, 2021.
Hughes was charged with six (6) felonies resulting from that case, which involved an armed carjacking. In February of this year, Hughes pled guilty to two felony counts of manslaughter. She still owes restitution of over $7,000 in the case.
In 2023, Hennepin County prosecutor Mary Moriarty overruled the decision of her predecessor (Mike Freeman) and chose to prosecute Hughes as a juvenile.
In the event, Hughes received a downward departure sentence of stayed jail time with three years of probation. After the latest incident, a probation violation report was filed in the manslaughter case, and Hughes faces a revocation hearing on August 18.
