At the federal courthouse in downtown St. Paul, a jury trial had begun for a couple accused of stealing $15 million through Medicare.
Gabriel Luther and Elizabeth Brown were indicted on charges of using their neurofeedback therapy company, Golden Victory Medical LLC, to overbill both Medicare and Medicaid for services not rendered. I have added the couple to my DefendantTrackerTM list as entries #127 and #128.
The couple were indicted on six (6) counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering, all felonies,

The indictment alleges that the operation began back in 2018 in the state of Nevada. The polycule relocated to Minnesota in 2019. In March of 2019, they purchased a $1 million, 9,000 sq. ft. mansion in Eden Prairie. They operated their neurofeedback therapy practice in Minnesota and other states.

The trial began on Tuesday and a jury was selected. The trial continued into Wednesday morning. The trial was orginaly scheduled to last until Thanksgiving.
