Common Site Edits: Pages, Posts, and Events
Navigating to the Front of the Site
To begin editing pages, posts, or events, first switch to the front end of the site. This can be done by clicking on ‘Steele County Republicans’ in the top left of the admin dashboard, and then selecting ‘Visit Site’.
Editing Pages with Divi Editor
- Accessing Divi Builder: Pages on the site are built using the Divi Editor. When you’re on a page that uses Divi, you’ll see a blue button in the admin bar labeled ‘Enable Visual Builder’. Clicking this will launch the Divi Visual Builder for that page.
- Editing Process: Allow a moment for the content to load fully. You can then make edits directly on the screen.
- Saving Changes: To save your edits, click the blue circle with three dots in the center at the bottom of the page, and then click ‘Save’ in the bottom right corner.
- Exiting Divi Builder: Once you’re done editing, click ‘Exit Visual Builder’ in the admin bar.
