It’s a pleasure to join Center of the American Experiment as an energy policy fellow. As a born and raised Alaskan, I am deeply concerned with reducing the red tape surrounding often-controversial energy and resource development projects.
I am a StateBeat Fellow with Young Voices and a Senior Fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum Center for Energy and Conservation. Prior to joining American Experiment, I was the Policy Manager at Alaska Policy Forum, where I researched and commented on energy, education, healthcare, and state fiscal issues.
At IWF, I regularly write about federal rulemaking regarding renewable energy, land use, and natural resource development. My work covering public lands and logging management in the Tongass National Forest has been featured in The Wall Street Journal. My writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, National Review, the Washington Examiner, RealClearEnergy, C3 Solutions, and more publications.
I grew up in Wasilla, Alaska, and graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in computer science and minors in economics and data science. In my free time, I enjoy reading and video gaming, and I play classical violin.
