MUELLER APPLAUDS FUNDING FOR AUSTIN’S I-90 BRIDGE
AUSTIN, MN – Representative Patricia Mueller, R-Austin, applauded Friday’s announcement of $25 million in federal funding for improvements to Austin’s I-90 bridge. The funding, an Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) Grant, was awarded by the United States Department of Transportation.
“This grant will go a long way towards ensuring the longevity of our infrastructure around I-90 in our community,” said Mueller. “Things like replacing bridges, sidewalks, and stormwater infrastructure will make a positive impact on our community in so many ways. I am happy to see that the federal Department of Transportation recognizes how important this stretch of road is to our local economy and beyond.”
