Eduardo Solis-Perez, age 32, is in custody, thanks to the work of the U.S. Marshals service.

As recounted in a press release issued yesterday,

Minneapolis man wanted for Prostitution of a Minor apprehended by U.S. Marshals North Star Fugitive Task Force

And by “Minneapolis man” we mean that he is a citizen of Mexico. The Marshals report,

On the morning of August 26, 2025, The United States Marshals Service North
Star Fugitive Task Force executed a search warrant and arrested Eduardo Solis-Perez at an apartment complex near Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Solis-Perez, 32, was wanted out of Hennepin County on a felony warrant for Prostitution of a Minor. Solis-Perez was also wanted on a federal warrant for a Supervised Release Violation.

The Marshals report that two others were arrested at that same apartment and that a half-pound of meth was recovered.

The mention of a warrant for prostitution of a minor appears to refer to an incident in Eden Prairie back in June. Fox 9 reported at the time,

12 men arrested for soliciting a minor in Eden Prairie human trafficking sting

Details from Fox 9,

The men believed they were arranging to pay for sex with a 17-year-old girl, who was actually an undercover officer. The operation involved a multiple-agency task force that focused on trafficking and exploitation in the Interstate 494 corridor.

According to police, the men ranged in age from 24-46, and were from all over the Twin Cities.

Fox 9 named some of the 12 men arrested,

Thai Lor, 25
Ross Orren Nordean, 25
Roberto Carlos Geronimo, 24
Angel David Agustin, 27
Jose Isaias Perdomo Elias, 27
Mohammad Reza Pourmand, 45
Abdullahi Yussuf Sheikh Nur, 46
Said Rahman Amanzai, 42
Eduardo Solis-Perez, 32

Mr. Solis appears as the last entry. Fox 9 reports on his encounter with police that day,

Solis-Perez was told by the undercover officer she was 17, and asked him if he was good with that. He responded saying he was OK with that and said, “got me worry your age,” court documents said. He then asked for a photo of the undercover officer and for her address. Solis-Perez didn’t stop at the location but slowed by the entrance. He then drove past and turned around. Police then tried to conduct a traffic stop on Solis-Perez, who then fled police.

Police had to conduct a PIT maneuver to stop Solis-Perez, who was then arrested with $200, a condom, cocaine, methamphetamine and two cell phones, charges said.

Apparently, he was released from jail after being arrested on that state charge. After his re-arrest yesterday, he appeared in federal court in downtown St. Paul on a federal prostitution charge and a charge of re-entry by a previously deported illegal alien.

Federal court records show a previous felony conviction for illegal alien entry in southern Texas in 2021. That case documented a deportation occurring in 2018.

Records also show a felony assault conviction in Hennepin County in 2011.

No date has been set for his next court appearance.
