Roberto Trinidad De La Rosa (a/k/a Jaime) is facing his 10th deportation from the United States after pleading guilty this morning at the Federal Courthouse in downtown St. Paul.

He pled guilty to a felony charge of illegal re-entry by a previously deported alien. Previous deportations were recorded in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 (twice), 2007, 2008, and 2011 (twice).

That total does not include the eleven (11) separate occasions on which Mr. Trinidad was granted voluntary departures. I guess he likes it here.

Over the years, he has accumulated three DWI’s, including one here in Minnesota last year. He has been in federal custody since June 23, when he was arrested at a gas station, on his way to work, as evidenced by his booking photo.

Mr. Trinidad will soon be returning, again, to his native Mexico, this time as a convicted felon.

¡Adiós, Roberto!
