Have your say on energy unaffordability to the Minnesota Government in October and November. In a nut shell:
- we need less, not more, unaffordable wind and solar renewables!
- we need more, not less, affordable nuclear and natural gas reliables!
This message needs to given once again to the:
- Public Utilities Commission (PUC) regarding Xcel Energy’s progress under the Natural Gas Innovation Act (NGIA) => by October 21, 2026.
- PUC, and their consultants of the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), regarding the electricity and natural gas affordability investigation => by November 2, 2026.
- Department of Commerce (DOC), and their consultants the Great Plains Institute (GPI), regarding the nuclear power moratorium study => by November 16, 2026.

I will finish up with three key charts in relation to these three MN Gov inquiries:
Chart 1: PUC natural gas
Don’t ban natural gas as MN electricity prices are over 700% more expensive.

Chart 2: PUC energy affordability
No more new wind and solar as MN electricity prices have skyrocketed since 2001 and 2007.

Chart 3: DOC nuclear power
More new nuclear power as it costs 7 times less than wind and 13 times less than solar.
