Viktoriya Komonash, age 30, accused in a wide-ranging sex-trafficking/Medicaid fraud scandal, was released from the Hennepin County jail last evening, after posting a $300,000 bond.

Court records indicate that she is to return to court on September 15. Komonash faces 26 felony counts in the sex trafficking case. Her name appears 34 times (but she is not charged) in the criminal complaint filed in the related Medicaid fraud case.
In the fraud case, Komonash is described as managing the REVA Autism Center in Brooklyn Center, in addition to her alleged duties managing the commercial sex scheme at various locations around the metro area.
Her co-defendants Salman Elmi and Andrea Sampson have been released after posting six-figure bonds. Co-defendants Frank Reeves and Katherine Thomes remain in custody.
Meanwhile, national attention to this newest scandal continues to grow.
